Leadership Team

Adam K. Levin
Chairman and Co-Founder

Fueled by a passion to protect and inform consumers, Adam Levin helped to ignite the growth of a new industry in 2003 when he co-founded Identity Theft 911, the industry leader in providing enterprise-level identity management solutions. This passionate fight against identity theft is reflected in his 2007 Keynote Address to the Georgia Consortium for Personal Financial Literacy, "Forget red states and blue states. When it comes to identity theft, we're all living in the same state — a state of emergency."

A consumer advocate, educator, regulator, business owner and identity theft expert for over 30 years, Adam has dedicated his life to promoting financial literacy, protecting consumers, and encouraging greater competition in the marketplace. He served as Director of the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs — one of the largest and most powerful consumer advocacy and law enforcement agencies in the nation. During his five-year tenure, he was responsible for the passage and/or promulgation of more than 40 major state consumer protection laws and regulations. He worked closely with numerous federal and state agencies to improve and more fairly and effectively enforce credit, health and safety laws.

In 1982, he won the nomination to run for the United States House of Representatives in New Jersey's seventh Congressional District. When he retired from government service, he spent the next 15 years developing real estate while co-founding and operating one of the largest residential property management companies in New York City.

In addition to his responsibilities as Chairman of Identity Theft 911, he is Co-Founder, Chairman and principal shareholder of Credit.com, Inc. — an online financial services educator, advocate and gateway to trusted credit product and service providers for over nine million consumers annually.

He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1975, and is a member of the Arizona chapter of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators.
Adam holds an A.B. from Stanford University and received his law degree from the University of Michigan.
